Yamaha Corporation of America introduces the KX Series USB MIDI Studio, built for discerning keyboard players on stage or in the studio featuring a high-quality Yamaha keyboard, numerous creative control features, and advanced integration with Steinberg DAW products.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of a love affair between bassists and the most influential bass combo amplifier in history – the SWR® Redhead. The original Redhead, introduced in 1988, revolutionized bass guitar amplification by combining SWR’s crystal-clear full-range tube preamp with a robust solid-state power platform into a rock solid, yet easily portable 2 X 10 cabinet. Loaded with two state-of-the-art 10” speakers and a high frequency horn, the Redhead sounded simply phenomenal and offered unprecedented patching options designed to meet the standards of discerning bassists, whether playing live or in the studio. Twenty years later, its features are far more than just relevant – they remain industry standards.
A long time ago, the Supremes reminded audiences that, "You Can't Hurry Love." Artists such as Simon and Garfunkel ("Slow down, you move too fast") and Tom Petty ("The waiting is the hardest part") have cautioned listeners and stakeholders that when "the goods" are rushed, mistakes can be made. The wisdom contained in these musical messages is as old as time. But in modern society, people generally want something new yesterday. No one could be feeling the pressures of public demand for creative output more than Matt Scannell of Vertical Horizon.

Then I ask myself another question, when the time we get what we think we want, is that really what we want?
After going through all these questions, I finally r
